Roderick I

Long live the king ds by das ao dArch Duke Roderick A. Piscony was living out the remainder of his life in quiet exile on his families estate on the small, out of the way islands in the Old Kingdoms. His ideals and politics had fallen out of favor in his Emperors court. When the magiclysm struck and forever changed the world he found himself, as the senior most noble on the island, crowned “King” and charged with the protection of what was left of humanity. Through force of will, determination, threats and charisma he was able to forge alliances and pass policies that would never have been considered in the past but became the basis for the Kingdom of Isles. All this came at the cost to his already frail health and the “Father of the Isles” did not live to see the shinning beacon his kingdom would grow to become.
