Kingdom of Isles
Grae’Core was always an outcast even among the Orc tribe he was part of. With the blood of Ogres flowing in his veins he was taller, stronger and if possible, more blood thirsty than his kindred. However, he was slower of mind and prone to rages that could kill many members of the clan. He found purpose and kinship under the command of a cunning Orc leader who gave him possition and used his endurance and natural skills in violence to great advantage. After years of service in battle they were tasked with finding a Necromancer who was heading to the Elven Capital of Bantu Asparr. Following the traitor into the tunnels leading to vaults beneath the city, they first encounter a group of Elves let by Aranion of house Talaviri. While in battle with the weak, light skinned defenders of the city, his leader suddenly stopped, at the moment of victory, and decided they should work together against the Necromancer, They triumphed against the Mage of Undeath but as a result were all captured and or killed before they could escape the city. Grae’Core, feeling betrayed, captured and tortured for years prayed for vengeance, prayed for blood, he called out to forces of darkness and evil, to any power that would listen… and at least one did. Grae’Core was infused with and would now co-habitat with a being from the deepest darkness of The Void. Still imprisioned, he spent the next several decades talking and whispering to his captors. Ever so slowly, he twisted their minds, and, it was hinted to the party, was the force that created the Cult of the Bat, and with time, the Red Orc’s that now inhabit the War District of the Lost City.
